A low-demand social club. Built for neurodivergent kids.

Pluto is a sensory-friendly social club designed for young neurodivergent children and their parents. It’s a welcoming space where kids can explore at their own pace and families can finally exhale. Just a place that understands.

From the Pluto Social Club co-founder Jennifer Briggs:

Over and over, parents tell us the same thing: they’re not looking for perfection, they’re looking for understanding.

Pluto is where kids are free to be themselves and parents can finally be welcome in a space where they don’t have to apologize for who their child is.

Come experience it for yourself.

How it works

  • 1. Choose a 90-minute session

Pick a session that fits your family’s rhythm. Each session is capped at five kids and booked in advance. No crowds, no surprises, and no pressure to rush.

  • 2. Show up exactly as you are

There are no rules about how to engage and no expectation to “join an activity.” If your child wants to explore, wander, repeat, avoid, or stim, that’s not a problem, it’s the point.

  • 3. Get low-demand, autonomy-first play

Sensory bins, open materials, and a simple layout support parallel play, deep focus, and gentle transitions. Kids lead. Adults follow their cues.

  • 4. Come back again for community

One visit can feel good. Coming back is where connection happens. Familiar faces, a trusted space, and a routine your child recognizes so we invite you to come back.

Why do families love Pluto?

  • Designed by parents who live it

Pluto is built and run by parents of neurodivergent kids. We didn’t design this from a handbook; we built the space we couldn’t find anywhere else. That means fewer assumptions, more understanding, and decisions made with real families in mind.

  • Fewer apologies for parents

Parents tell us they’re tired of apologizing: for the noise, movement, meltdowns, or taking up space. At Pluto, those apologies stop. The environment is built around the full range of real kid behavior.

  • A place your child doesn’t have to perform

There’s no expectation to participate, follow directions, or “do it right.” Kids can explore, repeat, wander, stim, or observe and be fully welcome, everytime.

  • Socialization without pressure

Socialization happens over time, not in a single drop-in. Pluto supports low-demand social exposure through small groups, familiar faces, and repeat visits — without forcing interaction or group play.

  • Predictable without being boring

Our materials rotate regularly, but the environment stays familiar. This balance helps kids feel safe while still staying engaged.

  • A true third space

Pluto sits between home and therapy. It’s not clinical, not chaotic, and not an appointment. It’s a place to exist, decompress, and connect (for both kids and parents).

Choose a time that works for your family.

All sessions are 90 minutes, intentionally small, and booked in advance so there are no crowds, no rushing, and no surprises.

Many families use Pluto as a shared playdate space (meeting up with friends so their kids can play together without hosting at home). You’re welcome to come on your own or with others.

Before your session, we’ll ask a few optional questions about your child to help make the transition into the space feel easier from the start.

Take your time. We’ll be ready when you arrive.
